Meet Our Team

Christine Musson
Head Optometrist
Christine graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Optometry (Honours) from the University of Auckland. She completed her Masters of Optometry in 2009 at the University of New South Wales.
Christine has been with Vision Centre since 2003. Her special interests are myopia control and children’s vision.
When not at work she has a passion for international travel and spending time with her 2 adorable nephews.

William Tang
Optometrist
William graduated in 2020 with a Bachelor of Optometry (Honours) from the University of Auckland.
William is particularly interested in myopia control and dry eye disease.
When not at work, William enjoys gymming and has a passion for dance and exploring new eateries.

Nana Mensah
Optometrist
Nana graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Optometry (Honours) from the University of Auckland.
He has a special interest in children’s vision and behavioural optometry which involves helping patients with strokes, trauma and concussions.
When not at work, Nana enjoys playing his guitar with friends and is involved with a local church community.

Javeria Kazmi
Optometrist
Javeria graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Optometry (First Class Honours) from the University of Auckland.
She is passionate about myopia control and interested in retinal diseases. Javeria speaks English, Urdu, and Hindi fluently.
When not at work, Javeria likes to keep herself busy with arts and crafts such as painting, calligraphy, henna, and crochet.

Paula McGray
Optical Assistant
Paula has been in the Optometry Industry for 30+ years, and has been at Vision Centre for 23.
She’s a sports enthusiast, fitness freak, and loves life to the fullest.

Leanne Sokolich
Optical Assistant
Leanne has been at Vision Centre since March 2023.
She enjoys optical dispensing and thrives to learn more everyday.
In her spare time she enjoys painting, gymming and spending time with her family and friends.
